PAINTING VERSES

PAINTING VERSES

(by DeBorah Jones)

The sunlight shines into each day
And sends the dark of night away.
It brings the colors to my eyes;
The bright green earth, the deep blue skies,
The yellow sun, the red, red rose
That in the gentle garden grows.
And from within my loving heart
The light always conquers dark.
So on my paper let it be,
Sunlight and water, joyfully.

(by Robert Lewers)

Help me dear Angels of the light
With tender care to paint aright
The colors that in me arise
Bringing to Earth from out the skies.
Help me to see in Earth’s dark ways
The golden sword of Michael raised;
From out my heart I, too, would bring
The colors of the rainbow ring.

The Story of Cosmetics

Our relationship with our personal care products can be one of the most intimate relationships we have. We use them daily, all over our bodies, and sometimes in our bodies. What's in our products? Is everything safe and regulated? There is a lot of debate and confusion over the answers. Watch Annie Leonard's film for one viewpoint on our cosmetics industry.
